Body Massage

Massage is one of the oldest and simplest of all treatments. For thousands of years some form of massage has been used to heal and soothe.
Massage involves systematically stroking, kneading and pressing the soft tissues of the body in order to bring about a sense of well-being and relaxation as well as ease tension from tight muscles.
I combine a range of massage techniques, working intuitively and as a qualified aromatherapist, I hand–blend oils suitable to the clients needs.
The Benefits:
- Reduces the effects of stress
- Boosts the immune system
- Can be used before or after sport or exercise to prevent injury/stiffness
- Improves the circulation to the muscle tissue and relaxes muscle fibres, easing aches and pains
- Creates a feeling of relaxation by soothing nerve endings and calms the mind
- The body is moisturised by the oils
- Is time out in a busy world
Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage or ‘champissage’ is based on the Ancient Ayurvedic Healing System. It has been practised in India for over 1,000 years.
The treatment works on the upper back, neck, scalp, upper arms and face and helps to dispel tension and stress, relaxing both body and mind whilst stimulating the flow of blood to these areas. You have the option of a treatment through clothing or with oil.
The Benefits:
- Brings about a feeling of inner peace
- Can release tension headaches and eyestrain
- Loosens the scalp
- Helps with mental tiredness
- Improves circulation to the treatment areas
- Helps muscle stiffness and knotted muscles
- Can help with disturbed sleep and insomnia
Reflexology

The purpose of reflexology is to bring about a state of balance, harmony and well being to the body. Our bodies need equilibrium in order to keep working healthily and reflexology works on the energy in our body to create just that.
Gentle pressure is applied to reflex areas on the feet which are connected to the organs, nerves and other parts of the body. A direct response is then created to the related body part.
Reflexology is not a medical treatment and therefore does not claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe but it does stimulate the body's own healing ability, correcting imbalance and congestion and helps to give the body what it needs.
The Benefits:
- Can provide more vital energy
- Promotes relaxation and a calmer mind
- Clears the body of toxins
- Relieves the effects of stress
- Encourages the body to heal any current disorders
Reiki

Reiki, pronounced RAY KEY, is an ancient healing method, with its roots lying in ancient Tibet. It was rediscovered in the 19th Century by a Japanese Monk named Dr. Mikao Usui.
The Japanese word ‘Rei’ and ‘Ki’ in simple terms means guided life force energy.
The energy is passed from the practitioner to the client by the gentle placing of the practitioners hands on points of the client’s body. This allows the client to absorb more life force energy.
The Benefits:
- Generally, Reiki leads to a profound sense of calm and well-being
- It is suitable for healthy and sick people of all ages
- Helps to ease headaches, body tension and stress
- Restores a balance to the energy of our body
- Treats the spiritual and mental causes of an illness, not merely the physical symptoms
- If you are in good health, Reiki helps you to stay that way
